About Us
I'm Tin, the creator and curator of News From The Paddock
The Short Version
I'm an F1 fan who got tired of opening 47 browser tabs every race weekend. So I built an AI to do it for me.
The Longer Version
Like most F1 fans, I have a problem. Not the "waking up at 3 AM for a race and convincing myself it's a reasonable life choice" problem (though that too), but the "obsessively checking every F1 news source multiple times a day" problem.
One day, while drowning in a sea of browser tabs—each promising "BREAKING" news that turned out to be the same press release reworded seventeen different ways—I thought: "There has to be a better way."
Spoiler: There wasn't. So I built one.
News From The Paddock is what happens when an AI enthusiast and an F1 addict occupy the same brain. I've created AI agents that scour the paddock for interesting stories, filter out the noise, and serve up the news that actually matters—all in one place. Think of it as having a very dedicated intern who never sleeps and doesn't need coffee breaks.
This started as a passion project built for an audience of one: me. I was too lazy to manually aggregate news, too curious about AI to not experiment with it, and too obsessed with F1 to pick a more sensible hobby. If you find this useful, that's genuinely wonderful. Welcome to the paddock.
Coming Soon: AI Telemetry Sidekick
Inspired by Tom Shaw's brilliant FastF1 project, I'm building something special for the data nerds among us.
You know who you are—the ones who pause during onboards to analyze steering inputs, who get genuinely excited about tire degradation curves, and who've definitely used the phrase "interesting strategy" unironically.
Whether you're a seasoned data analyst who dreams in lap time deltas, or someone who just wants to understand why everyone keeps shouting about "the undercut"—I've got an AI sidekick in the works to help you explore F1 telemetry like never before.
